We couldn't recommend this elegant dry white wine more as this is likely the most fresh, most complex version we've had all year. While Zibibbo is typically seen from Sicily, Calabria has had this variety for centuries.

Zibbibo is the southern Italian name for Muscat of Alexandra. Since Giovanni Benvenuto settled into his grandfather’s estate in Calabria, he has made it his goal to put the wine world’s spotlight on his local Zibbibo di Pizzo varietal. It is the only grape used in the Benvenuto Calabria Bianco. As soon as you pour the wine, the air is perfumed with floral and fruit aromas. On the palate are satisfying flavors of lychee, melon, lime, and candied ginger. It might be a surprise to those expecting a sweet Moscato.
