The Worthy Park Estate is situated in what can only be described as a paradise for rum production. Making great rum there is essentially like breathing, it is in the air. This is some of the oldest rum to come out of the new incarnation of this distillery, bottled from spirits distilled exclusively in 2007, aged for 10yrs and bottled at barrel proof. This is special, rare rum.

Such an inviting aroma once you've spent some time and slowed down the pace of the day. Rich spice aromas greet the senses vanilla, nutmeg allspice to name a few, and let you into a world of even more depth to come. The distillate is a result of a series of complex steps taken to maximize the final spirit. A pot still pushing the vapor through double retorts with heated low wines to complicate flavors not to mention the dunder that complicates initial fermentation stages. So much happening here and you can smell it! A long history, since 1670, with a new distillery built in 2005 a bright future is here to stay with the focus of Gordon Clarke at the helm. Whether independent or estate bottle you're in for a treat!
