Staff Pick Notes

The vineyards that make this great wine are scattered across very famous and important appellations in Piedmont. All the grapes are organic come from the Brovia's estates. Azienda Agricola Brovia has been founded in 1863. Winemaking practices are very traditional and viticulture has been organic since 2010. This wine is medium body with a bright acidity. On the palate you can enjoy red fruit notes followed by herbal and floral notes. It's rustic, with forest floor aromas but at the same time elegant. Usually Freisa creates a lighter style of wine. La Villerina Secca shows more concentration and body. It's a vibrant wine that would pair well with charcuterie and cheese.

The red Freisa is vinified in a variety of styles:...
