Tasting Notes

Perhaps the most famous and still to this day one of the most popular whiskies in the world, The Glenlivet is one of Scotland's old guard distillers that was one of the very first to bottle and sell their own single malt as such, completely transforming the industry and whisky as we know it along the way. This rare, old bottle dates to the early 1970s and was originally bottled for the Italian market. By the color it looks like there is a healthy amount of sherry in the mix and a bit of sediment has settled on the bottom. Hailing from the famous Veronelli cellar, this is presented with the original gift box as well. After the decades in cellar, there is some natural staining on the label and box. The top part of the main label has a slight tear. The fill is perfect and the original closure and tax stamp are intact.
