A classic, heady Jamaican combination of long high ester fermentation and exclusive pot distillation yielding a heavy rum with punchy, deep and intoxicating tropical flavors. Created from stocks distilled at Long Pond and Clarendon in 2005, the spirit was aged for a full 12yrs on the island in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished for an additional year in ex-Ferrand casks in Cognac.

Need a real complex cocktail ingredient? Inviting ripe notes of fruit and aged spirits alongside a hefty amount of sweet baking spices. Rum soaked pineapple rinds with banana peel. Layered aromas of a Maury dessert wine also contribute. Bright and dry on the palate with fresh cherries and a classic ester driven funk that bounces around the palate. I would even sip neat and enjoy this 13 yr rum! What a treat.
