Château Montus crafts this rich white wine very carefully, as has been done here since the 18th Century. This is a Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh sec, a Béarnaise name, and these wines are generally made in a sweet style. This dry version is fermented and aged in demi-muids. The 30 year-old vines of Petit Courbu and Petit Manseng contribute a rich and fruity intensity, which, with age, evolves in an elegant and savory way.
