Chareau is a fun and unique addition to a cocktail. This artisanal liquor is made with a base of eau-de-vie from Californian wine grapes. It's blended with aloe, cucumber, lemon, muskmelon, and spearmint. It's light and fresh yet the viscosity gives it a pleasant weight on the palate. It really adds something special in a mixed drink. The possibilities are endless as the profile of this liquor is very complementary to many spirits and liquors. Two of my favorite ways to drink it are below: 2 oz Gin 1 oz Chareau 3/4 oz Lillet Blanc Stir with ice and strain into a coupe with a lemon peel or 2oz blanco tequila 3/4 oz Chareau 1/4 oz lime 3-4 oz soda water Stir with ice and top with soda water and top with a cucumber slice
