Staff Pick Notes

This wine is a full-bodied, fruity Zweigelt. It's a concentrated wine with a lot of extraction. It has cherry and plum notes but at the same time it's gently savory. Tannins and acidity are very well balanced. A layer of minerality adds complexity to this great wine. The producers practice biodynamic farming. The vines range from fifteen to forty-five years of age. In addition, the wine is aged both in stainless steel and oak. These two factors create balance and fresh flavor plus a smooth and round finish. A wine that could be paired with beef or lamb.
