Tasting Notes

A remarkable Méthode Champenoise sparkling wine from Robertson, South Africa that's made entirely from Chardonnay. Part of the wine for the primary fermentation took place in cask adding remarkable complexity. This is also the result of nearly 4 years of aging on the lees after the second fermentation in bottle. The bead is fine, the wine is complex and a pleasure to drink.
