Another unexpected offering made in the same spirit as the other excellent distillates coming out of this small independent Charleston based outfit. The profile is unmistakably amaro but the main ingredients are local specialties like the indigenous caffeneinated plant Yaupon Holly, Dancy Tangerine, wild mint, Charleston black tea, gentian root and neutral cane spirit made from locally grown cane. Perhaps the sleeper in this otherwise whiskey driven portfolio but definitely not to be overlooked.
