Winemaker Pierre Michelland is native to Provence, and honed his trade in New Zealand. He farms and vinifies in simple terms, creating unique wines for this wild region. 60 year-old Carignan sees 50% carbonic maceration, and 50% destemmed fermentation, both aged in concrete. This dry, light-bodied, stony and fruited red is a joy to drink. Pair with Pissaladière.
