Tasting Notes

Viña Leyda aims to express the true colors of Sauvignon Blanc in this white. Full of fresh floral and honey aromas with a note of mint on the finish. Very approachable and ripe on the palate and a great match with poultry or richer fish dishes.

Staff Pick Notes

Viña Leyda was founded in 1997 and is one of the pioneers that helped create this new Denominación de Origen in May of 1992. This cool climate vine growing region is perfect for Sauvignon Blanc and other white grapes including Chardonnay. Aromas of grapefruit, fresh cut chili, and herbal notes give complexity to the wine. Hand harvesting and sorting tables before pressing allow high standards in production. I would have this with salad, ceviche, and a multitude of zesty seafood preparations. What an excellent value!
