Tasting Notes

Formerly available only in restaurants, this Napa Cabernet is made by Michael Mondavi, with most of the fruit coming from the Stags Leap District. It shows rich, spicy cassis notes and a velvety finish. This is just the thing for grilled meats and roasts.

Staff Pick Notes

Finding a Cabernet Sauvignon "value" in the high rent Napa County AVA is becoming increasingly difficult. Oberon is one of our best deals from this increasingly expensive area. It is also a Michael Mondavi wine, whose fans know the rich style and crowd pleasing flavors his brands are known for. This wine is smooth and beautiful. Its black fruit and multitude of berries in its aromas and flavors should make it an excellent match with an oven-baked pork tenderloin. Drink now.
