Shimmering and delicate with a sharp focus, this rose is very attractive, and a great way to start the evening, but it's beauty isn't only skin deep. Llopart is one of nine producers who left the Cava DO to form the Corpinnat region (meaning the "heart of Penedès"). These producers are only permitted to make wines from one hundred percent organic, sustainable, hand-harvested vineyards within the Corpinnat territory. Their wines are then aged for a minimum of eighteen months. It's a quality-focused term that highlights what makes Cava unique from other sparkling wines. Llopart's brut rosé is made primarily with Monastrell, along with Garnacha and Pinot Noir. It has notes of white nectarine, sweet basil, and flowers and an exceptionally crisp texture.
