Adam Tolmach's sensibilities in terms of vineyard sites and management play a huge role in the final bottling of his wines. For example, the west to east mountain ranges encourage maritime influences in the vineyard that keep the vines cool and maintain acidity. The fact that he purchases fruit from growers and pays by the acre, not the pound, allows him to have higher quality control across the board for all his wines. What you get is a balanced, aromatic, and flavorful wine that, at 13% ABV, won't blow your doors off. Layers of fruit and spice mingle nicely, resulting in a soft yet bright wine that will age for years as well as offer up a great experience now with some decanting.
