Tasting Notes

As expected, the old vines gives this a dark and brooding nose: brambly, tarry, and very spicy. Based mostly on Zinfandel but a blend of many local varieties. The ripeness here creates an opulent entry, with lots of depth on the mid-palate and a delightful, creamy old-vine intensity.
