Tasting Notes

A full-bodied Chardonnay that was fermented in barrel, then underwent malolactic fermentation and aged on the lees for 7 months. Rich and luscious with ripe fruit notes and creamy texture.

Staff Pick Notes

Don't sleep on the Empire State when it comes to Chardonnay. Perhaps known more for riesling and cab franc, the Finger Lakes grow some great Chard, and this is a wonderfully delicious, creamy Chardonnay from the friendly folks at Heart & Hands. Overlooking the east side of New York's Cayuga Lake, the grapes were picked and pressed at cool temperatures before barrel fermentation and 7 months of sur lie aging. Big body, luscious mouthfeel, peaches, pears, and citrus. Top flight Chardonnay that begs to be served with trout, salmon, or roasted chicken.
