Staff Pick Notes

The Tatsis brothers have been farming organically and using native yeasts with no additives since the nineties. They were the first natural winemakers in Greece. Limnio is not a very well known grape variety, but it has a long history in the country. It produces medium-bodied wines with red fruit notes and pleasant herbal notes, both in the nose and on the palate. Light green vegetable notes and rustic tannins are also noticeable. The wine is aged in old French oak barrels. Earthy and fresh at the same time, I would compare this wine to a smooth French Cabernet Franc. I would pair with white meat and pasta dishes or appetizers.
