Staff Pick Notes

Don't sleep on this Cab if you're looking for something big, rich, and oaky at a decidedly less big price point. It's exceptionally smooth with a soft velvety texture, low acidity, fleshy tannins, and all kinds of ripe cassis, oaky vanilla, and cocoa notes: dry but with a nose like a candy bar. The finish is long and elegant with hints of leather, earth, anise, and smoke. You can't really beat the price/quality for North Coast (encompassing Napa and Sonoma) Cab here.
