Staff Pick Notes

Zind-Humbrecht is a highly lauded producer amongst wine professionals because the estate makes delicate and refreshing white wines. Wines that will wake up your palate rather than tire it out. Sadly these qualities are not always hotly pursued. This is because in America bigger is better! However, this is not a great lens to view the kaleidoscope of wines out there. If you want a wine to carpet bomb your taste buds there are plenty of wines out there that do just that. But if you want to “take a walk on the wild side” and try something delicate but alluring, take a bottle of this home, sear some scallops, and taste what the wine pros are happy to keep to themselves.
