Staff Pick Notes

I cannot stop with this boxed rose! It is great for so many reasons. You cannot beat the value, four bottles for that price? You may be suspicious but let me wash away any concerns. It really delivers with bright and fresh red fruits that are ripe yet crisp. If you don't trust me, trust the natural wine importer royalty (to me, at least) Jenny and Francois Selections. They have never steered me wrong with their great natural and organic wines. The bag-in-box design keeps the wine fresh for several weeks when kept in the fridge, so it's great for a quick little glass here or there without the pressure of opening a bottle. I've also been making low abv spritzes by topping it with some Topo Chico and lime. A summer rooftop delight!

Let it never be said, however, that Shiraz and Syrah are the same thing: the region in which the grape is grown determines much about the flavor of the wine it will produce. Typically, New World Shiraz yields bigger, fruitier wines than the the peppery Syrahs...
