Greco di Tufo, Pietracupa - 2021

Item # 24133 750mL

The Pietracupa winery's Greco di Tufo is planted at a high elevation on tufa-a volcanic rock. A delicious example of this Campanian white wine that is both mineraled on the palate with floral and white fruit aromas. A fine match for fried calamari.

Staff Pick Notes

A complex yet playful white wine from Campania in south Italy that exhibits aromas of nectarines and sage. On the palate it is a very energetic wine with stone fruit flavors and a great minerality. The volcanic soils of this area are responsible for the strong mineral structure. Warm days and cool nights create concentration and acidity. Amazing with grilled fish!
