Vignoles is a hybrid grape variety made by crossing Pinot de Corton with another hybrid grape known as Seibel 6905. The result is a beautifully fragrant white wine that I could honestly drink any day of the week. Made with minimal intervention, this Vignoles just glistens and shines with freshness, crisp acidity, floral citrus, and stony minerality not unlike a top flight German Riesling. The grape name may sound French but it's essentially native to and made in the good ol' US of A. It's great wine at a bargain price, so give it a whirl, you'll be glad ya did.
