Marsannay Rouge "En Ouzeloy," René Bouvier

Marsannay Rouge "En Ouzeloy," René Bouvier - 2017

Item # 25851 750mL

The Bouvier family has been entrenched in Burgundy’s Cote de Nuits for four generations and has always been considered one of the region’s top names. This Marsannay is ready to drink, but be prepared for a rustic style. Angular, but accessible and benefiting from the warm vintage, there are warm cherries and forest spice on the palate braced with red fruit acidity. This is a wine that will become more impressive in the cellar.

Terroir, the concept that wines from a specific region have unique and identifiable traits, is intricately...

Burgundy

Fans of rich, unctuous, and well-oaked Chardonnay will enjoy Chassagne-Montrachet, whose age-worthy offerings offer all the fatness of a California wine, yet retain a very Burgundian, mineral-driven core and great acidity....
