Antonio Perrino is a determined, focused producer. Liguria is a difficult region to cultivate anything. Rossese, an obscure varietal native to western Liguria, however thrives on the region's steep, terraced vineyards. Its charming profile beguiles with wild floral aromas, redolent of violets, roses and red currants. One of a few red wines that go well with fish, it especially pairs well with crawfish and langoustines, also calamari and octopus. A fine partner to cured meats as well.
