Tasting Notes

This striking Chenin Blanc tastes just like a bowl of fruit salad, while the nose brings notes of spring flowers, ripe pears, and a bare touch of honey. From late-harvested grapes and boasting the flowery tropical tones of youth, it is for quaffing over light, fruity fare: shrimp in sweet-and-sour sauce; apricot-glazed chicken; and salads with orange. This offering from the Malan family comes from their vineyards planted in the foothills of Simonsbery Mountain outside Stellenbosch.
