Tasting Notes

An Alsatian Grand Cru vineyard Riesling with meat on its bones. A pretty nose, sapid with peach blossom, gives way to an unctuous palate. This is a dry white wine, complex in its texture and balanced with a granite minerality.

Staff Pick Notes

I love Rieslings at every time of the year, but something about autumn amps up my craving. For one thing they're the perfect pairing for fall's flavors: roast pork with apples, choucroute garnie, or butternut squash soup. They also offer a little more heft than the crisp dry whites I've been drinking all summer. This Alsatian Riesling hits all the right notes, and it's from a grand cru vineyard no less. Granite soils give this wine a great structure and minerality with flavors of ripe peach and apple. It's the perfect way to end a day of leaf peeping or apple picking.

They are careful to retain the...
