Tasting Notes

A complex and aromatic Brunello from Sesti winery. Vivid acidity gives freshness to the wine that is full of dark and black fruits. Overall, the wine has a firm structure and weight. Decant for an hour so before enjoying it with braised meat dishes.

Staff Pick Notes

Remarkably lithe and elegant for a wine in this category. Once it is decanted, the acidity shines through and the tannins are soft and easy. It still showcases the big, dark red fruits you expect. But this vintage is more feminine than usual. Soft, round, and opulent. And completely approachable. You can also cellar this for about 10 years to see where this unique vintage will take you. But I’d suggest buying a second bottle whose dusty lusciousness you can enjoy immediately, for comparison, you know?
