This is Anne Claude and Christian Leflaive's adventure in the Loire Valley that stated in 2006. This is made from Cabernet Franc, the emblematic grape of the Loire and it makes for 5 hectares of the domain. The soils are a mix of clay, silex, and tuffeau. The vines are an average of 50 years in age. The grapes were destemmed, the wine fermented with ambient yeasts. Aged for a year in a mixture of cask and tank.
