Tasting Notes

Gamay is growing very well in Hawke's Bay, New Zealand at the Te Mata Winery. Fresh and Beaujolais like, with exuberant fruit notes of raspberries and black cherry. So quaffable and easy to enjoy by itself.

Staff Pick Notes

Strawberry (and Raspberry) fields forever. That's what you get from this delightful, uncomplicated New Zealand Gamay from Te Mata. There's nothing to get hung about with this one. Put a light chill on it and take it along to any gathering where great fun, great people, great food and great music are in the stars.
