Tasting Notes

Believed to be bottled in 1980-81, this aged sherry shows dried apple and lemon notes on the nose. This is a rare treat from the cellar and fine match with anchovies and cheeses. The cap can become difficult to open when chilled, it is recommended to twist the cap and crack the seal before chilling. If you find the cap difficult to twist off try running it under warm water.

Fino Sherry works fantastically as an aperitif, as it pairs particularly well with...

Palomino

Accounting for over 90% of the vine plantings in Jerez, this relatively neutral grape provides the ideal “blank canvas” for the creation of fabulously complex Sherries (much like the Ugni Blanc grape does in Cognac).
