Tasting Notes

Made from 100% Pais, the juicy and Gamay-like grape of Chile. Manuel Maravilla owns a small 4 hectare estate in this cooler region of Yumbel. Pipeño was traditionally enjoyed by the farmers directly from the "Pip" or pipe. With its easy-drinking nature and pure red fruit flavors, this Liter sized bottle is ideal for your next dinner or party. Serve lightly chilled.

Staff Pick Notes

Manuel Humberto Moraga Gutiérrez is the winemaker behind this 100% pais grape "Pipeño". He uses what he calls "early Spanish traditions," which translates into the making of wine using natural and ancestral ways to express the full aspects of the land. As your drink this Pipeño, you will be transported to Chile. Valle del Bio-Bio is one of the most southern wine region of Chile. Light body wine with great deep showing clean red fruits. This "vin de paysan" can be served lightly chilled; the perfect summer red wine.
