Grape Variety

Tasting Notes

A sparkling rosé from Austria made from the Zweigelt grape variety. The bubbles are delicate and dry, yet show an abundance of red-berried fruit aromas. An excellent apéritif wine to pair with cured meats or fish.

Staff Pick Notes

I love many of the wines we carry from Austria, but for obvious reasons the ones that taste great at an incredible value are my favorites! The sparkling Rosé from Erdenlied is a bargain for what is in the bottle. This wine is bright and bubbly and exudes lovely strawberry and red raspberry aromas that are matched on the palate. It begs to be served along with brunch, opened before dinner, or brought with snacks to the park. Affordable enough that it can be opened spontaneously but delicious enough that you will always be glad you did!
