Tasting Notes

A full-bodied red wine that is made with equal parts Grenache and Syrah. Bold in character and full of black berried fruits and anise. Unoaked yet very full in style and can easily age for several years. The Visan village has had its appellation since 1966 and the area is home to not only vines but lavender, green pines and brush which many claim makes it into the aromas of the wines themselves.

Let it never be said, however, that Shiraz and Syrah are the same thing: the region in which the grape is grown determines much about the flavor of the wine it...
