Tasting Notes

The white Fernão Pires grape, known as Maria Gomes in other regions, comes from the Barcelos area of Portugal where soils are dominated by granite and quartz. This is made by the family-run company, Quinta de Paços who owns multiple properties in the Barcelos area of northern Portugal. This wine is lively and a great bottle to drink alongside a light meal.
