Production Methods

Wine made from grapes grown organically using natural composting techniques and special preparations of herbal sprays while following the astronomical calendar.

Tasting Notes

From the first urban winery located in Paris comes this formidable red wine made entirely from the Cinsault grape variety. In spite of this being a new winery, Les Vignerons Parisiens insists on using native yeasts. This is a lively red wine with black fruit and floral aromas. The tannins are lithe and accessible. An unoaked wine.

Staff Pick Notes

While my thoughts of Paris certainly include drinking wine, I've never thought of it as a place where wine is made. Until now! Paris' first winery is making some fantastic offerings using hand harvested, biodynamic grapes from the Rhone that make the day-long trip to the big city in refrigerated trucks and immediately begin the vinification process. This fine example is made from the Cinsault grape, usually blended into Cotes-du-Rhone and other southern reds, and makes a persuasive argument for it to shine on its own. Dark cherries, black currant and violet petals are just some of the fresh aromas that leap from the glass. Although fruit forward, this wine's vibrant acidity and smooth tannins make for a dry finish. And all crafted in a hip urban winery. Paris; it's the new Brooklyn.
