A dry yet juicy red wine full of tart cherry and pomegrante flavors. The Mavrodafni grape is traditionally vinified into a sweet wine, but this dry style it a joy to drink by itself or with a variety of meats and cheeses. Winemaker Panagiotis Dimitropoulos was an engineer, and now runs his biodynamic winery without irrigation or chemicals. He ages this wine for 12 months in used French oak.
