Made from the hybrid Brianna grape which traces its heritage to several types of muscat and grenache blanc. It the same grape used to make the sparkling Ci Confonde Blanc. You'll find heady floral and white peach aromas with a textured mouthfeel and bracing acidity.

Beautiful wines in the United States can be forced. Not to say that we don't produce exquisite wine here, because we absolutely do. But I am saying that the American wine culture doesn't always make it easy to be a natural wine advocate. La Garagista farm and winery (but also an orchard, chicken coop, pasture, and garden) has opened my eyes to the artistry and elegence of Vermont natural wine. Vermont has always occupied a room in the delusional space in my mind I keep for places I've never been. In that room I would share fresh cheese with Calvin Coolidge as we discussed maple syrup and rank the top 5 best Ben & Jerry's flavors. Loup d'Or is a jaw tingling wine with a palate dripping of salted green apple preserves that are slightly overripe. Store bought figs, slightly green, and air-conditioned.
