The Yacoubian brothers established a partnership with Paul Hobbs in 2008. Together with their local team, they are introducing practices in the vineyard and winery to not only produce the highest quality wines, but to elevate the region as a whole.

This amazing 2016 vintage was born of a collaboration between 2 native sons of Armenia & California icon Paul Hobbs who has twice been named “Wine Personality of the Year.” This beautiful Areni is the ultimate introduction to indigenous Armenian reds, elevated by a true master. Garnet to the eye with a nose of clove, blackberry, and mocha with a hint of iodine. Medium-bodied, perfectly balanced with rustic tannins. An interesting palate of savory mushroom and dried cherry that mingles pleasantly in the warming finish. Barbecued or grilled lamb, especially in spicy Middle Eastern dishes are perfect partners for this lovely wine.
