Barolo "Rocche dell'Annunziata," Erbaluna

Barolo "Rocche dell'Annunziata," Erbaluna - 2013

Item # 39324 750mL

The brothers of Erbaluna, Severino and Andrea Oberto, quietly make terroir-expressive wines in their historic home of La Morra. The fruit for this wine comes from vines planted in 2000 and 2003 on calcareous clay soils on a cru site in La Morra called Roccha. The wine is fermented with ambient yeast and aged in large barrels for two years. This vintage is drinking beautifully today and would make a fine match for mushroom risotto.
