Making wine in Quebec comes with the challenges of extreme cold of winter & inevitable frosts of spring yet Frédéric Simon and his wife Catherine Bélanger tend to their 1.5 ha winery with resolute sincerity and an evolving sense of place. This is an orange wine made from the hybrid grape La Crescent that is fermented on the skins for 60 days in stainless and spends six months in large foudre. An exciting, well-made natural wine for adventurous palate.
