Staff Pick Notes
Itata valley is emerging as one of Chile's premier wine regions. Ideally located between the Andes and the Pacific coast (near Concepción) and filled with granite dense soils, it is a terroir paradise. Rogue Vine's "Grand Itata" has an elegance from Cinsault, grown throughout the region, blended with País to brighten it up. Intoxicating notes of singed wood and black tea fade into lush currants on the finish. Delicate, adventurous, liberating.
