Tasting Notes

From 50 year old vines from the Quinta dos Cozinheiros located north of the capital city of Lisbon. It is a co-plantation of white and red grapes but based mostly on Baga. Co-fermented with wild yeasts for a month in cement then aged in 5 year old Burgundy barrels for 2 years. Cozs is a partnership between two great vignerons of Portugal, Tiago Teles and Antonio Marques da Cruz.
