This luscious Chenin Blanc is made from 100 year old vines and spends 2 years aging in old barriques. Concentrated notes of honeycomb and citrus fruit envelop the palate. The vineyard is plowed with a horse and grapes are manually harvested and destemmed. No racking, battonage or added sulphur.

What is desire? The word desire stems from Latin sidus or Heavenly Body, and entered Middle English from the Anglo-Norman language. What did the Anglo-Normans desire? They were probably parched from all that conquering England business and would have gladly swilled a glass of La Grapperie's La Désirée. Is This Desire? 1998 album by English musician PJ Harvey What do you desire? Sometimes desire is best kept unknown, but I'm pretty certain that you would not be disappointed by some delicious and natural Loire Valley Chenin Blanc. Fermented and aged for 60 month in barrel, with neither racking nor battonage, and no added sulphur. This wine is raw yet refined. much like Queen Polly Jean herself.
