Franco Martinetti's Baroli are opulent and gourmand, more giving if you will however with the utmost respect to showing the aromas of elegance of Nebbiolo. Aged in smaller French oak and coming from soils of clay and calcareous marl, this shows ample dark fruits, think Morello cherries that are still quite primary on the palate.
