Château Barouillet, from the southwest of France, has been a family business going back at least 8 generations. Vincent Alexis works alongside his father and grandfather to cultivate the land. This is a Pétillant Naturel (aka Pét-Nat) made from the Sémillon grape that was directly pressed into steel tanks where fermentation started but then after a month was transferred into bottle where the fermentation finished its work.
