François and Manuel Chidaine are pioneers in the Loire when it comes to growing grapes in a healthy fashion all the while by not espousing tilling which they see interrupts the natural microbial life in the soils. This Gamay is a first for the estate and is wild and luscious all at once. Medium-bodied with a musky nature alongside aromas of fern and capers. You could whirl this in a decanter to open up the aromas.
