Tasting Notes

Tonino is a fun, natural rosé Pét Nat. Made with both red and white grapes, exhibiting unique freshness from the indigenous white Savatiano grape, floral qualities from Malagousia, and the structure and fruit from Merlot. Off dry with an old school rusticity.

Malagousia

Pronounced "mah lah gou ZYA", this Greek varietal is making a return from the brink of extinction. This intensely aromatic grape variety makes elegant, full-bodied white wines possessing aromas of exotic spices and fruits. If you like Viognier or Muscat, Malagousia is the grape for you.

Savatiano

This light-skinned grape is exceptionally resistant to the frequent droughts of the region, and is the prime ingredient in the traditional pine-flavored Greek wine, Retsina.
