Tasting Notes

Le Mont Aigu is an unforgettable plot in the village of Chouilly. This is a delicate yet structured Champagne with a classic, chalky backbone that is the signature of a Blanc de Blancs from the Côte des Blancs. The Jack Legras estate is a 4th generation Grower-Producer with a handful of vines (2.8 hectares in total) and is run by John Charles, Nathalie and their grandson, Ugo. The Chardonnay vines were planted in 1969 and it's these old vines that contribute greatly to the extract of this Champagne.
