Item # 43020 750mL

From very old sheltered vineyards in the Vale Mediz in the Pinhão area. The native grapes used for this wine are planted in schist soils and are from vines that are from 70 to over a 100 years old. Fermentation is done in stone lagares where the fruit is foot trodden with the stems. After a short maceration, alcoholic and malolactic fermentations take place naturally in French oak barrels. Aged for over a year in French oak before bottling.
